LCEF Supports You at the 2010 National Youth Gathering

National Youth Gathering

Welcome!

The National Youth Gathering is an extraordinary event that brings together nearly 30,000 young people in the name of Jesus Christ. For five days, youth groups from across the country join as one to celebrate their faith.

A major concern for anyone who travels is handling money, and those attending the 2010 National Youth Gathering (congregation leaders, parents, and youth) are no different. LCEF wants your group’s experience to be fun, memorable, and safe. We can help by providing money management assistance before, during, and after the Gathering.

Before

Your youth group’s funds for the Gathering could be earning interest right now in an LCEF StewardAccount®. Youth groups can pay for registration fees, hotel bills, travel costs, meals, etc. all with the StewardAccount VISA® Check Card. With the StewardAccount Check Card there is no need to carry large amounts of cash. Learn more here.

During

While in New Orleans, visit the LCEF Exchange at the convention center for safe, convenient, on-site cash transactions. You can:

  • Cash traveler’s checks—FREE. (No personal or third-party checks, please.)
  • Withdraw cash from authorized LCEF accounts—FREE.

The LCEF Exchange will be staffed every day (including Saturday and Sunday) by LCEF personnel to ensure your access to fast and friendly service.

After

After the National Youth Gathering is over, your youth group can continue to invest with LCEF.

Youth group dollars will earn competitive interest rates while providing low-cost loans to LCMS churches, schools, and rostered church workers—all helping to share the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
